Stand with Ukraine

Stand with Ukraine

For two weeks, I’ve been trying to figure out what to post, since I try to do that at least biweekly, and… whatever, fuck it, like it matters, like anything matters. #StandWithUkraine.

We’re behind a young Ukrainian girl with her dark-brown hair in a ponytail, wearing black sweatpants and white tennis shoes, as she walks down the middle of a wide, empty street in the middle of a Ukrainian city. The Ukrainian flag, divided horizontally with blue on top and yellow on the bottom, is wrapped around her shoulders. To her left, blurred out, we can see a long row of tall buildings and street lights, stretching down the street as long as we can see, with more buildings in the distance. While this is the kind of street that should be full of cars, it’s disconcertingly empty.
