Merry Christmas from Caperton Gillett Creative

Merry Christmas from Caperton Gillett Creative

A photo in the dining room of a house, with wood floors, beige walls and a framed print and a black grand piano visible in the background. We can just make out a manger scene set up on the piano. In the foreground, an older man in a red plaid shirt sits at a table covered with a cream damask tablecloth. In front of him is a Christmas-themed plate with the remains of a piece of rib roast on it, next to a closed iPad. He’s gazing down at an adorable black and tan husky mix with fluffy ears and cute li’l eyebrow spots and a white and red zigzag-striped bandana, and the dog is gazing back with the kind of adoration you’ll only ever see from a dog, particularly if you have the remains of a piece of rib roast on your plate. The photo is framed by a thin, burgundy double line. To the left of the dog’s head are the words “Love y’all” in cream, and in the lower left corner, in burgundy, are the words, “Merry Christmas from Caperton Gillett Creative.”

Y’all are the best gifts a mouthy, opinionated, moderately external-validation-seeking freelance copywriter could have, and I treasure your place as colleagues and, in many cases, friends. May you have the merriest of Christmases and the happiest of new years, and may you find someone who looks at you the way Dave here looked at my dad for roast beef.

XOXO, Caperton
